* InterReach Fusion System provides multi-operator in-building wireless coverage
* Ten-day, non-disruptive deployment enabled fast availability of quality wireless service for guests and staff after major renovation
* Phased deployment prioritizes >600,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor public areas and meeting rooms

ADC (NASDAQ: ADCT) (www.adc.com) today announced that its InterReach Fusion® in-building cellular system has been deployed to provide strong and consistent wireless coverage at the recently-renovated Fontainebleau Miami Beach resort hotel.

After undergoing a three-year, $1 billion renovation and construction program, management at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach discovered that nearby cell towers were not providing adequate service throughout the facility. ADC offered the best price and performance in a multi-operator system.

“Delivering the ultimate resort experience means hassle-free cellular service,” said David Chin, Director of IT at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach. “ADC not only offered the highest performance for the money, but they were incredibly responsive to our needs.”

The deployment plan calls for:

* Phase I coverage for 600,000 square feet of meeting rooms, indoor public areas, and “back of the house” areas
* Phase II coverage for oceanfront guest rooms and outdoor areas

The InterReach Fusion distributed antenna system (DAS) installed in Phase I is fed by rooftop antennas that capture the signal from nearby cell towers. In just ten days, ADC contractors deployed three InterReach Fusion Main Hubs, nine Expansion Hubs, and 64 remote antenna units (RAUs) to distribute the signals throughout the property. This system covers the public areas, meeting rooms, and “back-of-the-house” areas in the hotel’s four towers. The system currently delivers 850MHz and 1900MHz service for AT&T and Verizon, and the hotel is in discussions with Sprint Nextel and T-Mobile.

In Phase II of the deployment, engineers will evaluate additional areas such as the resort’s oceanfront rooms and outdoor areas for potential deployment of FlexWave™ Prism outdoor antennas and additional Fusion products, as needed.

“As a world leader in in-building cellular systems for the hospitality industry, ADC has the experience and products to quickly address coverage issues in facilities of any size and configuration,” said John Spindler, vice president of product management for ADC. “The Fontainebleau Miami Beach joins a growing list of world-class resorts that rely on InterReach Fusion systems for optimum cellular coverage.”
