Thailand’s first world-class luxury marina community Royal Phuket Marina has completed its latest development phase, bucking the property trend with 12 of the 15 luxury properties already sold. Residents are moving into the first-of-a-kind triplex ‘Aquaminium’ condominiums, distinguished by their private drive-in boat berths.

Introducing a new concept in marina living, the Aquaminiums have been snapped up by investors since being launched in 2007, setting a record price for condominium sales in Phuket.

Two years later, investors are now moving into their ultra luxury, three-story condos which come complete with private drive-in boat berth, sumptuously designed and appointed interiors and views of the glamorous Mediterranean-style marina with its multi-million dollar yachts at their moorings.

Also now ready for occupation are a series of waterfront Luxury Villas set in their own private estates with 23 meter yacht berths and superb views of the marina. Designed in contemporary Thai style, they feature expansive outdoor terraces and private swimming pools with built-in Jacuzzis. Two were sold prior to completion and a further three are currently available on the market.

Completion of the latest phase of the Royal Phuket Marina follows the sell-out success of the first phase of 66 luxury condominiums and penthouses which are already commanding high premiums.

Commenting on luxury property investment at Royal Phuket Marina, developer Gulu Lalvani said: “We provide a luxury marina lifestyle unrivalled in Asia. Investors can see the finished product and that we provide 5-star standards of service and maintenance, as well as world class facilities and amenities and a dynamic, up-and-coming community -- as well as a potential return on investment of 5%.”

Designed by Palmer and Turner Hong Kong – the group behind many of Hong Kong’s most distinctive structures, including CITIC Tower, Exchange Square, and the Harbourside – the Aquaminium’s 3-block scheme fulfills the promise of unrivalled views over the marina, while creating an iconic new landmark on the Phuket waterfront.

Interiors featuring highest quality finishes and design furnishings were crafted by renowned interior design specialists dwp cityscape (design world partnership) – the team behind the interiors of Gaysorn Plaza and Sirocco in Bangkok, the Evason Spa in Hua Hin and some of the most contemporary venues in Singapore and Vietnam.
