The Savan Vegas Hotel and Casino (“Savan Vegas”) located in Savannakhet Province, Laos the first 5-star hotel and casino entertainment complex to be developed in the country and it is managed by Sanum Investments Limited. The site is adjacent to the second Laos-Thailand Friendship Bridge which connects Savannakhet with Mukdahan Province in Thailand. Vegas location is in Nongdeune Village, Kaisonephomvihan District.
The construction of Savan Vegas began in October of 2007 and is scheduled to be completed in time for a September 2008 opening.
Savan Vegas offers a 5 star level of service with an average room size of over 400 square feet. Larger suites will be available for VIP customers. State of the art casino games and equipment from major international providers will be featured.
Savan Vegas exterior architectural design portraits the combination of the southern Lao ancient ruins and the historic elephant symbol of the Lao Lane Xang Kingdom (the Kingdom of Million Elephants). The interior design reflects the combination of modern Las Vegas and traditional Laos.
Phase 1: This phase will include a 180 luxury room hotel, 4,950 square meters of gaming space with 300 slot machines and 80 table games, an international restaurant and bar facilities, an entertainment center, a premium spa facility, modern shops, and the largest swimming pool in southern Laos.
Phase 2: This phase will include additional rooms and further amenities, additional restaurant space, nightclubs, sauna and Jacuzzi area, spa and massage rooms, a fitness center and more. Phase two should be completed in 2009.
