NetJets Aviation today announced that Eric Lampert has been named Vice President and Director of Operations for the Flight Operations Department at NetJets Aviation. Mr. Lampert most recently served as the Assistant Director of Operations for Flight Operations at NetJets.
"Eric's considerable understanding of aircraft operations, including piloting and mechanics, coupled with his natural leadership skills make him the perfect candidate to lead NetJets Aviation's Flight Operations department," said Executive Vice President of Flight Operations, David MacGhee. "His expertise has been a vital asset to NetJets Aviation since he joined our organization 14 years ago."
Mr. Lampert first arrived at NetJets Aviation, Inc. (formerly Executive Jet Aviation) in 1994 as a line pilot. In this role, he flew the Citation SII, Hawker 1000, Hawker 800XP, Gulfstream 200 and Falcon 2000 aircraft. He has also flown as an Instructor Pilot and Check Airman in the Hawker 1000 and Gulfstream 200. In 1998, Mr. Lampert joined the Flight Operations management team. Since that time, he has served as an Assistant Chief Pilot and Chief Pilot in the Hawker 1000 and as a Chief Pilot in the Hawker 800XP, Gulfstream 200 and Falcon 2000 programs. Prior to being appointed Vice President, Mr. Lampert served as an Assistant Director of Operations.
Prior to NetJets, Mr. Lampert was a staff instructor for American Flyers and as a staff instructor pilot and aircraft mechanic for Ohio University. Mr. Lampert earned his B.S. in Airway Science from Ohio University and also attended Columbus State University, where he obtained his certification as an aircraft mechanic.
