Desires Hotels today announced that it is partnering with Bella
Notte, a hospitality training company, to provide training programs infused with entertainment for
the employees at its boutique hotels.
The training programs are custom designed to empower and teach Desires Hotels’
employees how to improve on providing intimate personalized guest service to the modern
boutique hotel traveler. Mastery of top-notch guest service, service delivery and service recovery
will be the main focus of the sessions. Bella Notte achieves dynamic results by utilizing an
engaging combination of role-play, question and answer, interactive dialogue, theatre and acting
techniques, industry videos and other relevant media. Former international director of training for
W Hotels Worldwide, Randyl Appel, leads this dynamic team. To help motivate, inspire and boost
employee participation, the sessions are also led by a roster of Broadway veterans, opera
singers, musicians, D.J.'s, magicians and dancers.
“Our team of employees is very dynamic and non-traditional so we were looking for a
unique way to captivate their attention. When we came across Bella Notte, we knew from the
start that they would be a perfect match for us,” said Lisa Perez, Vice President of Human
Resources for Desires Hotels. “We are confident that this investment in our employees will have
a long-term positive impact on the outstanding service we will provide to our hotel guests.”
The hotels that will participate in Bella Note’s training programs are: Sagamore Hotel,
Wave Hotel, Circa 39, Hotel Astor, Betsy Ross Hotel, St. Augustine Hotel, The Strand Ocean
Drive, San Juan Water & Beach Club Hotel, Glenn Hotel and Hotel Mela.
