Christian Lohse, Chef de Cuisine at “Fischers Fritz” at The Regent Berlin has been awarded with his second star Michelin, and now heads the only 2-star-restaurant in the German capital.
Lohse serves high class fish and seafood specialities inspired by a modern French cuisine in an elegant atmosphere – “Fischers Fritz” opens a unique view on the historic Gendarmenmarkt of Berlin. “I’m very proud of Christian Lohse and his team”, says Kurt Ritter, President & CEO of The Rezidor Hotel Group. “We only opened The Regent two and a half years ago, and having reached these culinary heights after such a short period is a fantastic success.”
Lohse is one of the best chefs in Germany and also awarded with 18 points Gault Millau. Prior to his engagement at The Regent Berlin he worked at such renowned places like “L’Espérance” in Vezelay and “The Dorchester” in London, and was the personal chef to the Sultan of Brunei.
“Fischers Fritz” is Rezidor’s second restaurant with 2 stars Michelin – the group also features “The Sea Grill” at the Radisson SAS Royal Hotel in Brussels, Belgium where Executive Chef Yves Mattagne serves finest fish and seafood creations. He cooperated closely with Christian Lohse when “Fischers Fritz” was founded and its first menu created. Moreover – both chefs are regularly supporting gourmet events presented by Rezidor and underline the growing importance of high quality F&B within the group.
