Angsana's First City Hotel To Open In Dubai

Angsana Resorts and Spa is poised to bring its refreshing blend of Asian hospitality with a touch of contemporary chic to the bustling city of Dubai, with the launch of Angsana Hotel and Suites Dubai in the first quarter of 2008. This new property will add a boost of 417 residence suites and 364 hotel rooms to the dynamic hotel industry in the UAE.

As part of Banyan Tree Group, Angsana Hotel and Suites Dubai is the first city hotel to open under the Angsana brand. This is part of the Group’s continued strategy of expansion in the Middle East, with ten more properties in the region slated to open in the next few years. Angsana Hotel and Suites Dubai is the first of six projects in the portfolio of Angsana properties that are currently being developed in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Fujairah, Jordan and Oman.


“Angsana Hotel and Suites Dubai is our first property in the United Arab Emirates and affirms Banyan Tree’s strategic intent to be a key player in the Middle East region, while bringing our brand of Asian hospitality to a wider group of discerning travellers. It is also the latest addition to our growing city hotel portfolio, which currently includes Bangkok, Beijing, Shanghai and Seoul,” said Executive Chairman, Mr Ho Kwon Ping.

Well-Appointed Accommodation
Located along Sheikh Zayed Road, with close proximity to the Dubai International Exhibition and Convention Centre, and Dubai Financial Centre and Business Bay, Angsana Hotel and Suites Dubai comprises two outstanding 48-storey tall towers.

Slated to open in February 2008, the suites tower (“Tower 1”) consists of 428 one and two-bedroom units with contemporary furnishings. The hotel tower (“Tower 2”) is earmarked for soft launch in June 2008, and will feature 364 deluxe rooms, one and two-bedroom units, as well as club and luxury floors for guest relaxation and recreation.

Amenities available in all rooms include IDD telephone, wireless internet connection, stereo system, DVD player, LCD television, in-room safe and dining area.

Relaxation in the City
A rejuvenating spa experience awaits at the award-winning Angsana Spa, which offers guests a range of refreshing treatments that emphasize on the use of natural ingredients and Asian remedies. The loftiest spa in the Emirates, treatment rooms are located on the 45th floor and offer spectacular views of the city or the Persian Gulf to complete the experience. It is also the largest Angsana Spa in the Emirates, featuring four double treatment rooms, nine single treatment rooms, spa gallery, lounge and beauty salon.

First-Class Facilities
Targeted at both business and leisure travellers, Angsana Hotel and Suites Dubai offers an extensive selection of top-notch facilities and services. Business travellers and conference delegates may make full use of the modern meeting facilities, which comprises meeting rooms, boardroom, business centre and pre-function area.
