Barceló Hotels & Resorts today announced the grand opening of the 72 guest room luxury Barceló Oviedo Cervantes Hotel in Spain. The hotel, which is located in a historic building dating to 1915, is being operated as a Barceló Premium Brand hotel, providing upscale service and amenities. The Asturias region of Spain is popular for both tourism and business travel.

The hotel is owned by the Arboleya Group and centrally-located on Calle Cervantes, and adjacent to the world-class Campoamor Theater. Its façade is typical of a traditional Asturian ‘casona’ (mansion) and stands in contrast with its minimalist interior, making it an architecturally dramatic hotel perfect for both leisure and business travelers. The guestrooms are well appointed with contemporary finished and the hotel also includes 12 meeting rooms that can accommodate up to 200 people. There are two restaurants including a buffet casual dining restaurant, and a gourmet Asturian style restaurant specializing in fish and seafood from the Cantabrian Sea.

The Barceló Oviedo Cervantes Hotel is located at: C/ Cervantes, 13, 33004 Oviedo, Spain.
