Crestline Hotels & Resorts, Inc. today announced the appointment of Bruce M. Johnson as Director of Sales & Marketing for the Georgia Tech Hotel & Conference Center in Atlanta. The Georgia Tech Hotel & Conference Center, which is managed by Crestline Hotels & Resorts, is an upscale hotel and conference facility located in mid-town Atlanta, just minutes from the Atlanta Hartsfield Jackson International Airport. The hotel includes 252 well-appointed guestrooms and 21,000 square feet of meeting space and is an IACC certified meeting property.
Mr. Johnson rejoins Crestline Hotels & Resorts from the Emerald Pointe Resort & Conference Center at Lake Lanier Islands, GA, where he was Director of Sales and Marketing. Prior to that he was Director of Sales & Marketing for the Atlanta Marriott Gwinnett Place Hotel, also a Crestline managed property. He has held sales management positions with the Marriott Evergreen Conference Resort at Stone Mountain, GA, The Hilton at Lake Lanier Islands, GA, and The Renaissance Atlanta Hotel. He began his hospitality career in Connecticut.

Mr. Johnson brings more than 20 years of hospitality industry experience to his new role. He holds a B.S. in Advertising & Marketing from Bridgeport University in Connecticut. The Georgia Tech Hotel & Conference Center
Opened in the summer of 2003, the Georgia Tech Hotel & Conference Center is one of Atlanta's finest IACC approved meeting facilities with 21,000 square feet of high-tech meeting space and 252 deluxe guestrooms. The upscale Hotel and Conference Center features executive meeting space supported by the most sophisticated and technologically advanced equipment including wireless and hard-wire Internet throughout the property. Additional features include: enhanced stationary continuous-break areas and upscale conference dining. The meeting and event space features 18 function rooms including a 7,200-square foot Ballroom that is divisible by six.
