New York's Hotel Pennsylvania, The World's Most Popular Hotel(R), announces the next phase of its refurbishment program. As it prepares for the 2008 season, the Hotel continues renovations and upgrades to enhance its commitment to offering true accommodation value for guests.
The property is looking forward to hosting guests for various events taking place throughout the city, including the Westminster Kennel Club's 132nd Annual Dog Show in February 2008 and the Big East Men's Basketball Championship in March 2008, both at Madison Square Garden across from the Hotel.
The renovations and upgrades currently underway include:
Improvements to the exterior facade of the Hotel (you will note the scaffolding being erected);
The addition of flat-screen televisions and AM/FM clock radios with CD Player and iPod dock to our Penn 5000 Club guestrooms;
The addition of larger-screen televisions to superior guestrooms throughout the Hotel;
Upgrades to one of our popular meeting spaces, The Gold Ballroom and its pre-function space.
The current phase of refurbishment is being done without any inconvenience to guests.
As a further incentive, New York's Hotel Pennsylvania continues to offer its popular packages such as the Shopper's Special, which provides guests with even more value through savings provided by local retailers.
