Barceló Hotels & Resorts Reports No Damage to its Hotel in Nicaragua Following Hurricane Felix

The Barceló Montelimar Beach Hotel is Fully Operational and Undisturbed

Barceló Hotels & Resorts is pleased to report that The Barceló Montelimar Beach Hotel was not in the direct path of Hurricane Felix and therefore sustained no damage from the storm. The hotel is open for business and fully operational serving guests with its customary personal service and amenities.
The Barceló Montelimar Beach Hotel enjoys a beachfront location outside of Managua on the Playa de Montelimar Pacific Coast. The all-inclusive hotel includes more than 500 guestrooms, guest suites and cottages, as well as a selection of four a la carte and buffet restaurants. It is a sportsman’s paradise with scuba diving, kayaking, windsurfing and horseback riding.

“We share in the sorrows of those in Nicaragua and throughout the region who did suffer loses from the recent hurricane,” said Oscar Serrano, Managing Director for Barceló Hotels & Resorts. “And as a company we will work to assist those who need help. But we want to assure our guests and the travel trade that our hotel was unscathed by the hurricane and is completely welcoming to guests.”
