High net-worth consumers rated the Venetian the casino with the best experience in
the country in the 2007 Luxury Customer Experience Index (LCEI) survey from the independent New York-based Luxury Institute
(www.LuxuryInstitute.com). Bellagio and Mandalay Bay were rated second and third, respectively. Here is what high net-worth
consumers said about the Venetian:
-- "It was a great experience. The opulence and splendor made me feel as
though I was bathing in luxury."
-- "Beautiful and elegant atmosphere, wonderful themed hotel with topnotch
dining and shopping."
-- "Service was overall stellar."
For those casinos they would not recommend, the most frequently cited reasons were out-dated décor, lack of uniqueness, and crowds.
"The best casinos understand that wealthy consumers have discriminating tastes and are well-traveled. They want more than run of the mill aesthetics, amenities, and
experiences. Despite not being the newest property on the strip, the Venetian has created and maintains a sense of beauty and elegance not found in other casinos,"
said Milton Pedraza, CEO of the Luxury Institute.
"As an independent entity, we go directly to the high net-worth consumer and deliver their collective voice for the benefit of all constituencies. Since this is a highly
competitive race for their dollars, it is critically important for an impartial entity to deliver unbiased, consumer-based ratings of the top casinos," added Pedraza.
Following are the 30 casinos rated (alphabetically):
1. Aladdin
2. Bally's Atlantic City
3. Bally's Las Vegas
4. Bellagio

The proprietary Luxury Customer Experience Index (LCEI) survey is the only measure of the customer experience of leading brands among wealthy Americans. A
national sample of over 1,650 wealthy American consumers, with an average income of $302K, and average net worth of $3.2 million was surveyed online. Survey
results are weighted to match demographic and net worth profiles of the same audience according to the latest Survey of Consumer Finances from The Federal
Reserve.
