The Steigenberger Hotel Group is expanding its presence in Egypt through its Cairo subsidiary Steigenberger Middle East Hotels & Resorts: on 1 July 2007 the Hotel Nile Palace became part of Steigenberger Hotels and Resorts. Located in the heart of Luxor, this Deluxe hotel has 283 exclusive rooms and 19 suites, attractive restaurants, a pool, a tennis court, four conference rooms and the largest ballroom in Luxor. Following on from the Steigenberger Hotels in El Gouna and Hurghada the Steigenberger Hotel Nile Palace is the company’s fourth hotel in the land of the Pharaohs.
The Steigenberger Hotel Nile Palace lies in the heart of this popular tourist destination, on the banks of the Nile and only about 1.5 km away from the Luxor Temple. The five star hotel, which opened in 2002 and operated as Le Meridien Hotel up until the end of last year, appeals to holidaymakers, business travellers and conference delegates alike.
All of the hotel’s 302 rooms and suites, decorated in light sandy tones, are fully equipped with air-conditioning, satellite TV, safe, minibar and telephone, complete with personal voicemail service. Most rooms look out over the Nile or onto the main boulevard. The Steigenberger Hotel Nile Palace is the perfect place for conferences and all manner of functions. The hotel’s own ballroom, the largest in Luxor, and the four conference rooms can hold over 1,000 people.
On the sporting front, the Deluxe hotel offers a heated outdoor pool, a tennis court and a Fitness and Wellness area. Golfing enthusiasts can use the nearby golf course at special terms.
Lovers of fine food and drink will also enjoy the Steigenberger Hotel Nile Palace. Alongside three restaurants serving national and international cuisine the hotel also has two cafes and three bars, including a pool bar.
With the new Steigenberger Hotel Nile Palace the Steigenberger Hotel Group is expanding its Egyptian range of hotels through its subsidiary Steigenberger Middle East Hotels & Resorts. The company has been here since the Steigenberger Golf Resort opened in El Gouna in 1999: this was followed in 2006 by the Deluxe Steigenberger Al Dau Beach Hotel and the lively Steigenberger Al Dau Club in the popular tourist destination of Hurghada. With these four hotels the Steigenberger Hotel Group has wide-ranging appeal: while cultural travellers and conference delegates can discover the sights of Luxor and golfing enthusiasts can refine their swing in El Gouna, divers and families can enjoy the colourful waterworld of Hurghada.
