Crestline Hotels & Resorts, Inc. today announced the appointment of David Hoy as General Manager for the Hampton Inn Parsippany. The newly flagged property was previously part of the adjoining Hilton Parsippany Hotel. Crestline Hotels & Resorts, which manages both the new Hampton Inn Parsippany as well as the Hilton Parsippany, decided to separate the facility and create two complementary branded hotels that offer luxury full-service facilities and select service facilities in the same location. The Hampton Inn Parsippany includes 152 guestrooms, while the adjoining Hilton Parsippany Hotel has 354 guestrooms and 30,000 square feet of meeting space.
Mr. Hoy joins Crestline from the Holiday Inn Express State College, PA, where he was General Manager. He had also held executive management positions with Hampton Inn & Suites in Annapolis, MD, and Courtyard by Marriott in Middletown, NY.
“David has an established track record in revenue management, as well as employee training and team building,” said Dave Durbin, President & CEO of Crestline Hotels & Resorts. “He brings enthusiasm and expertise in hospitality management to this new property,” added Durbin.
Mr. Hoy holds a B.S. from the Pennsylvania State University in Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management. He has earned his CHA designation (Certified Hotel Administrator) and has served as the Director of Community Service for the Patton Township Business Association as well as on many industry and business committees.
