Now in its fourth year, the programme has become a cornerstone of Cycas Hospitality’s commitment to developing talented individuals from across all disciplines of the hotel business.

Impressively, over 50% of previous graduates have since progressed into leadership roles within the company, reflecting the programme’s impact on nurturing exceptional talent in the hospitality industry.

This year’s graduates represented a truly international group, with candidates drawn from hotels in London, Amsterdam and Paris, as well as from Cycas’s off-property Facilities, Finance and Marketing teams. The eight-month programme culminated in a graduation ceremony held earlier this week at Moxy and Residence Inn Slough, with graduates’ mentors, General Managers, and senior members of Cycas Hospitality’s executive team in attendance.

Throughout 2024, participants engaged in a variety of masterclasses covering key industry topics, including commercial strategy, finance, IT, and people and culture sessions, equipping them with the skills and insights needed to excel in the dynamic world of hospitality.

Janet Roberts, Chief People & Culture Officer at Cycas Hospitality, expressed her delight at the programme’s success, saying: "I’m incredibly proud to see this talented cohort graduate with invaluable experiences and essential skills to propel their careers in hospitality forward. Their journey reflects the calibre of future leaders we are committed to nurturing here at Cycas."

Janet added: "By cultivating talent from across different functions across Europe, the Cyfari programme underscores our dedication to building and inspiring the best hospitality team in the industry. Programmes like this are central to how we develop tomorrow’s leaders and maintain Cycas Hospitality’s reputation for exceptional service and innovation.”

As Cyfari enters its fifth year in 2025, the programme continues to be a driving force in Cycas Hospitality’s efforts to foster talent and inspire excellence across its operations.
