Now, the Sanoner family, owners of the company, has unveiled its "ADLER for Planet" initiative to not only (re)define, but also expand sustainability in their resorts and lodges.
An Initiative Achieve Earth Check Certification
The initiative pursues a comprehensive sustainability strategy based on the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. In addition, the company is actively pursuing certification through Earth Check, one of the leading environmental certification programs.
Earth Check requires hotels to meet more than 300 sustainability criteria, including reducing emissions and improving energy efficiency.There are different "ADLER for Planet" projects for each hotel: - ADLER Spa Resort DOLOMITI and ADLER Spa Resort BALANCE: Partnership with Locia
The Locia workshop in Ortisei accompanies and supports people with disabilities offering them meaningful employment and encouraging them to develop their independence and personality. - ADLER Spa Resort SICILIA: Respect for the environment
The resort, which is 100% powered by renewable energy, regularly organizes clean-up days on the beach near the hotel. - ADLER Spa Resort THERMAE: Cultural events for the region
