When an Italian professor, Daniele Ermes Dondé was forced to put his family art collection up for sale, nine out of the eleven paintings he tried to sell were found to be fakes. Today Professor Daniele Ermes Dondé has become well known throughout Europe and the U.S. for pioneering a new trend in the art market: Faux-Art. World-wide known as “a king of copies” considers his every work to be a “new original”. His new trend Faux-Art is known as reproductions of great masters like van Gogh, Paul Gauguin, Claude Monet, August Renoir, Gustav Klimt, Leonardo da Vinci. The unique quality of these creations encouraged many celebrities to enlarge their private collections, among them were: the Holy Father John-Paul II, the unforgettable Princess Diana, Gianni Versace, Frank Sinatra, and many others.
From 22nd May till the 4th June for the second time Professor Daniele Ermes Dondé will introduce his exhibition at Polonia Palace Hotel. For his collections Professor always chooses luxurious and exclusive hotels and buildings in New York, Paris, Tokyo. Polonia Palace is proud to host ”Art Glamour Collection from Leonardo to Klimt” in the hotel foyer & lobby. Faux-Art will be combined with Professor original collection of impressive paintings “Marlin Monroe: a Modern-Day Mona Lisa”.
During the official opening of the exhibition one of the original paintings will be donated to Ilona Felicjańska and her charity fundation “Niezapominajka”.
