Atlific Adds Management of 4 Hotels to its Portfolio in Fort Mcmurray

The Merit Hotel, Merit Inn & Suites, The Nomad Hotel & The Nomad Suites in Fort McMurray, Alberta come under new management by Atlific Hotels & Resorts.

Temple REIT of Winnipeg, new owners of the four successful properties, announced today that Atlific Hotels & Resorts of Montreal will manage the 4 hotels, joining the already successful Clearwater Suite Hotel in Fort McMurray, The Temple Gardens Mineral Spa Resort in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan and the Chateau Nova Hotel in Yellowknife, NWT.

"We are all extremely proud to have been chosen to lead these hotels in Canada's rapidly developing north" stated Robert Leoppky, Regional Operations Manager Western Region, Atlific Hotels & Resorts, adding, "they have long been considered premier accommodations in their respective markets and we intend to continue to grow on that tradition. Our vast network of sales personnel and the marketing and e-commerce team across Canada and the United States will increase the hotels' abilities to promote their services."

Conveniently located on opposite ends of Franklin Avenue, the Merit Hotel, features 92 guestrooms including studio suites with separate living room and efficiency counters providing under counter refrigerators and microwave ovens. Other hotel services include 4 meeting rooms, The Pantry Restaurant, Alexander's Lounge, and an indoor pool and fitness centre. The Merit Inn & Suites is Fort McMurray's newest extended stay hotel offering 75 outstanding studio suites with full efficiency kitchens, The Merit Inn & Suites offers two boardrooms, exercise room and Coco Joes coffee house.

The Nomad Inn is the only high rise hotel in Downtown Fort McMurray with 141 guest rooms in seven stories, The Keg restaurant, 2 meeting rooms, an Irish Pub, Coffee house and exercise room. The nearby Nomad Suites feature some of Fort McMurray's largest fully equipped Hotel suites, all with two bedrooms and over 1,100 square feet of living space including private balcony.
