Istanbul is one of the most exciting cities in the world: a vital link between east and west that has welcomed visitors since time immemorial.
Kempinski is set to cement its position as one of the leading hospitality companies in this global city after signing a new management contract for exclusive luxury residences in the affluent Balmumcu - Beşiktaş neighbourhood, set to welcome first guests by early 2024.
Situated in the heart of an expansive 30,000 square metre site in a lush green valley, most of which will be preserved as park, Kempinski Residences Balmumcu, Istanbul, will be home to 155 residences with breathtaking Bosphorus views spread across five modern buildings and 11 exclusive villas.
Ranging from 194 to 1,340 square metres, the residences and villas will offer the last word in luxury living in the heart of Istanbul’s business and commercial hub, with a host of services provided by Kempinski including a dedicated Residence Concierge, Resident’s Lounge, gym, outdoor pool and valet parking.
“Demand for private branded residences that benefit from the management expertise of an established luxury hotel company has grown and grown in recent years, demonstrating the appetite for dependable service and personal recognition among the world’s most discerning investors,” says Bernold Schroeder, Chief Executive Officer of Kempinski Group and Chairman of the Management Board of Kempinski AG.
“Kempinski has been present in Istanbul for more than 30 years and the city holds a special place in our hearts. Being appointed to manage this beautiful collection of luxury residences reflects the high regard with which Kempinski is held in Istanbul and the strength of our relationship with Astaş Holding, our long-term partner in the city and Yapı&Yapı, one of Turkey’s leading construction companies.”
The 155 generously proportioned residences come in numerous configurations, all of which afford sweeping views of the mighty Bosphorus and the familiar silhouette of the Istanbul skyline through floor-to-ceiling windows.
Larger units like the duplex Roof Penthouses feature generous panoramic balconies and dual-aspect windows, while the Garden Duplex residences boast private pools and generous outdoor space.
Interiors are modern, chic and timeless, with oak parquet floors, matt bronze and Champagne-coloured metals and warm, neutral tones throughout: a beautiful blank canvas on which owners can stamp their identity.
Fully equipped kitchens with state-of-the-art appliances, marble bathrooms with standalone tubs and private balconies earmark this as one of the most luxurious residential projects in Istanbul.
The Residents’ Lounge will provide space to unwind and relax: one of several social spaces that give owners the opportunity to mingle with other residents.
Outside, the swimming pool and Vitamin Bar overlook more than 24,000 square metres of surrounding parkland, and a dedicated kids’ pool provides space for little ones to splash around without disturbing other residents.
Other facilities include a state-of-the-art private gym, 24-hour security, valet parking and a Residence Concierge, who can organise additional services such as dry cleaning and laundry, airport transfers and secretarial services.
A stone’s throw from the Central Business District and the luxury boutiques and restaurants of the Zorlu Center, Kempinski Residences Balmumcu, Istanbul, are ideally situated for access to transport links and Istanbul’s vibrant shopping and nightlife.
Kempinski Residences Balmumcu will join three other Kempinski-managed branded residences already under operations in the city — Kempinski Residences Astoria, Kempinski Residences Bellevue and Macka Residences by Kempinski — all of which were developed by Astaş Holding, and the legendary Çırağan Palace Kempinski Istanbul, a palatial urban resort on the banks of the Bosphorus.
Construction of Kempinski Residences Balmumcu is already underway and the first residences will be handed over to owners in early 2024.
