The Ritz-Carlton, Perth is excited to announce Alberto Cuzzit has commenced in his role as the Executive Chef.
Joining the hotel from his previous role at The Ritz-Carlton, Okinawa from 2018, Alberto now brings his international culinary knowledge and experience to guests of The Ritz-Carlton, Perth.
Alberto began his career in his home country of Italy and gained a wealth of experience across various restaurants, including Michelin starred restaurants Dal Vero in Treviso, and Gordon Ramsay’s @ Claridge’s in London. In 2009 he was part of the pre-opening team at the very first Armani Hotel worldwide in Dubai, UAE at the Burj Khalifa.
Alberto was involved in the opening of the Conrad Hotel in Seoul, South Korea as Multi-outlet Chef de Cuisine in charge of four venues in 2012.
He was appointed the Executive Sous Chef of the Swissôtel Nankai Osaka with a team of 120 Chefs consisting of 9 dedicated F&B outlets, oversaw major renovations and an expansive banqueting operation.
Most recently, Alberto oversaw the food and beverage offering across 6 diverse outlets, in-room dining and events in his role as Executive Chef at The Ritz-Carlton, Okinawa.
During this time, he introduced new dining concepts across multiple venues, stylistic projects, and contributed to a rise in guest satisfaction across the resort.
In his role at The Ritz-Carlton, Perth, Alberto will oversee the food and beverage offering at all the hotel’s venues, special programming, in-room dining and banquet menus.
Bringing an impressive repertoire of experience in some of the world’s leading Michelin starred restaurants to the table, Alberto will reimagine the dining offering across the hotel including at award-winning outdoor terrace bar Songbird, and the hotel’s signature restaurant Hearth.
He will continue the tradition of cooking over open fire at Hearth, cultivating a dining offering which brings to life contemporary Western Australia through an innovative use of acclaimed local produce.
