This is a real message of optimism for all the professionals in this sector but also for travelers, who are waiting to relive extraordinary experiences.

I think it's important to celebrate these openings and show how resilient the hotel industry is. So today, I present to you the top 10 hotel openings I am most looking forward to in 2021. Happy reading!

1.Cheval Blanc Hotel Paris - LVMH

Paris is the beating heart of luxury and fashion, why wouldn't LVMH open one of its own hotels in the city of its headquarters? With this new Cheval Blanc Hotel at the Samaritaine, LVMH intends to demonstrate French savoir-faire and capture the spirit of Paris in this building that will be entirely designed by Peter Marino in the Art Deco style. A feast for the eyes! Its opening originally planned for 2020 is scheduled for spring 2021. I can't wait to visit this incredible hotel that will celebrate luxury à la française.

2.Bulgari Hotel Paris - Marriott Luxury Brands

If the Hotel Cheval Blanc in Paris is the representation of the French idea of the art of living, the Hotel Bulgari Paris will become the Italian embassy of hospitality in France. With an opening planned for the summer of 2021, the prestigious Italian brand has chosen a location for its hotel in the famous "Golden Triangle" on Avenue George V. The Bulgari Hotel will be designed by Antonio Citterio and Patricia Viel in collaboration with Parisian architects Valode & Pistre, who were able to convey the heritage of the Roman jeweler through this creation. With 76 rooms, a 1,300m2 spa including a 25-meter pool, the Hotel Bulgari Paris will become one of the jewels of the City of Light.

3. Six Senses Hotel, Ibiza

Six Senses has mastered the art of creating places that resonate perfectly with their values. Sustainability, emotions and hospitality are not empty words for this aptly named brand. Six Senses Ibiza, set to open this year, builds a vibrant hotel with authentic Ibiza to show us the true magic of this place. The view and contemporary design of the hotel are intended to create an exceptional environment and experience for guests. We will note, once again, that the Six Senses brand shows us all its understanding of the challenges of the hotel industry in the future in the face of ecology and the Millenials clientele fond of an environmentally friendly lifestyle.

4.Hotel So/ Sotogrande, Spain - Accor

Accor Hotels expanded its portfolio by acquiring the Cadiz Hotel Almenara and completely renovating it to become part of the SO/ brand. The French hotel group is thus offering Sotogrande its first luxury hotel in a "Boho" spirit. It is expected to open its doors in spring 2021. Located between Marbella and Gilbratar, not far from the Mediterranean coast, it offers a wide variety of leisure activities thanks to its sports park. With 151 rooms, including 24 suites, the SO/Sotogrande Hotel promises to be one of the major Mediterranean destinations in the years to come!

5.Woodward Hotel Geneva - Oekter Collection

I keep coming back to Geneva and its many beautiful hotels, I am thrilled with this upcoming opening! Facing Lake Geneva, the Woodward Hotel is set to open in the spring. The Hausmann-style building was built by François Durel in 1901. The hotel will be entirely renovated by the famous Pierre-Yves Rochon and will benefit from a 1,200 m2 spa designed by Guerlain. The establishment, which will soon complete the Oetker collection, will mark the Geneva gastronomy by hosting Joël Robuchon's Atelier and the restaurant Le Jardinier. Also noteworthy: the hotel will be entirely composed of suites!

6. Belmond Splendido Mare Hotel, Italy - LVMH

On April 16, 2021, the Hotel Belmond Splendido Mare in Portofino will open its doors after being redesigned by the Parisian architectural firm Festen. The 14 rooms and suites of the hotel offer a decoration reinterpreting the history of Portofino and the codes of traditional Italian craftsmanship in a modern and timeless way. The terracotta tones and the inspirations coming directly from the small fishing village that is Portofino, make it a real jewel. In addition, the designer Arthur Arbesser in Milan created the staff uniforms and thus completed the elegant and fine atmosphere of the Belmond Splendido Mare hotel.

7.Nobu Marrakech Hotel

Marrakech is the city that is becoming a must for luxury destinations. By transforming the renowned The Pearl into the Nobu Marrakech Hotel, Morocco is sending a strong signal to all those who wish to settle there and participate in the growth of tourism. Member of the Hivernage Collection, worthy ambassador of Moroccan luxury, the 71 rooms and suites as well as the 2,000 m2 of the future spa are already making me dream!

8.Nobu Riyadh Hotel, KSA

After a series of postponements the Nobu Riyadh Hotel has announced an opening in 2021 and it is highly anticipated! With its 119 rooms with a modern and elegant Japanese-inspired design, the hotel located in the middle of an urban oasis, will bring a real leisure dimension to the capital of Saudi Arabia. This multi-faceted country, long closed to tourism, has recently opened up to the world. The inauguration of this emblematic establishment will be the best reflection of this!

9.Aman Hotel NYC - Aman Resorts

Aman Resorts Group will open the doors to its new hotel in New york City in the summer of 2021. With 83 rooms and a breathtaking view of Central Park, the Aman NYC hotel follows in the long tradition of prestigious Manhattan hotels. The rooms, designed by Jean Michel Gathy, offer an unusual setting and a zen and modern balance in the middle of the urban jungle that is New York City. A place to relax in the middle of the city that never sleeps!

10.Rosewood Guanahani Hotel, Saint Barths

Rosewood Hotels & Resorts has renovated the Guanahani St.Barthélémy that has been closed since 2017. The property will reopen in the summer of 2021 with the goal of preserving the spirit and philosophy that made the place legendary. The Guanahani St.Barth marks the expansion into the Caribbean of the Rosewood brand and joins the remarkable collection that includes the stunning Hotel de Crillon in Paris. The Guanahani is known for its idyllic setting and architecture by David M. Schwartz Architects. The interior design by Luis Pons Design Lab will undoubtedly be sensational. I can't wait to step onto the sand of the beaches that the Guanahani is known for!
