Immersed in a sublime natural landscape without parallel in the entire Mediterranean, in the marine protected area of Tavolara on Sardinia’s north-east coast, the Resort is set to open on 1 June 2021.
Enveloped in a private 4-hectare estate, the 78 rooms, suites and villas feature linear, essential design and modern, elegant furnishings that chime with the colours of the natural surroundings. Some have breathtaking views across one of Sardinia’s finest beaches just a few minutes’ walk away.
At the Baglioni Resort Sardinia, guests can enjoy a large pool with sun terrace, a Kids Club, two children’s pools and wide open spaces sweeping down to the sea.
Highlights of the resort’s F&B offering include the gourmet restaurant “Gusto by Claudio Sadler”, a Pool Bar, a Terrace Bar and a second Italian restaurant with a Mediterranean theme.
The Baglioni Resort Sardinia is the ideal destination for lovers of the active open-air life. The private estate and surrounding country make a unique setting for yoga, jogging and trekking, not to mention mountain biking and horse riding. Golfers can open their shoulders on two nearby courses.
Guests can work on their wellbeing at the Gym, with natural lighting and a pool view, and the Spa, with its 90 °C Finnish sauna, steam bath, sensory showers, ice fountain, four treatment cabins and relaxation area.
“This year and the next will see our brand start growing and developing again on an international scale, after what was a tremendously difficult year for the whole tourist sector. Although the pandemic has not gone away, I am confident that domestic and international tourism will resume here as early as this summer, albeit gradually, as visitors rediscover what a priceless experience travel can be. Sardinia is a byword for extraordinary natural beauty. Our new resort will be an idyllic haven for a relaxing holiday in absolute safety among ample spaces that blend to perfection with the natural setting. I would like to record my special thanks to Mr Dario Leone, Partner and Head of Hospitality at Cushman & Wakefield Italia, our advisor in this rebranding project”, said Guido Polito, Baglioni Hotels & Resorts CEO since 2011.
