The iconic hotels and resorts of Nassau Paradise Island are making it as easy as possible for vacation-seekers to comply with the latest international travel requirements by offering on-site complimentary rapid antigen tests to travelers before returning to the United States.
In compliance with the current U.S. Government mandate by the CDC, U.S citizens and international travelers ages two years and older returning to the United States are required to present a negative Rapid Antigen or COVID-19 RT-PCR test or documentation of having recovered from COVID-19. The negative COVID-19 test must be taken within 72 hours of departure and presented pre-departure at LPIA in Nassau.
The CDC has confirmed there is no quarantine mandate at this time on return to the United States following a trip to the The Bahamas and travelers should follow local health recommendations or requirements relating to travel.
The following hotels and resorts are currently offering two complimentary rapid antigen tests per room. Additional tests are available at the resorts for a nominal fee, in most instances $30 or less per test.

Rapid antigen tests will also be available at Lynden Pindling International Airport (LPIA) in Nassau for departing travelers to the U.S. It is still recommended that testing be completed at your hotel before airport arrival.
Ahead of Arrival: All travelers to The Bahamas must obtain a negative COVID-19 PCR (swab) Test taken no more than five days prior to the date of arrival and complete a Health Visa, available on Bahamas.com. Once on-island guests will have full access to the beaches, shops, and restaurants of Nassau Paradise Island. Social distancing and mask wearing are encouraged and required in public spaces. More safety details can be found at NassauParadiseIsland.com.
“The Bahamas are already requiring visitors to get tested on their fifth day of a trip, so the country was able to respond quickly to the new requirements and offer easy, on-site, complimentary testing for guests,” said Nassau Paradise Island Promotion Board CEO Fred Lounsberry. “We want to make the process as streamlined and simple as possible for travelers, so they can maximize their vacation and spend more time relaxing and enjoying the natural beauty of Nassau Paradise Island.”
