Steigenberger Hotels & Resorts are embracing best practice in the sector. The company is expanding its technological services in order to allow innovative and hybrid events to be staged. In future, two locations in Germany and one in Belgium will offer fully equipped studios that are able to facilitate live broadcasts, virtual meetings, live streams and video recordings. Located at the Steigenberger Airport Hotel Frankfurt, a studio measuring 265 square metres is situated in one of Europe's most important economic hubs. A mobile and size-adjustable pop-up studio offering state-of-the-art audio, video, lighting and set technology is available at the Steigenberger Hotel am Kanzleramt Berlin. A professional broadcasting and recording studio has also been installed at Steigenberger Wiltcher’s in Brussels. Further studios and offers are in planning.

“I view innovation and technology as being absolutely key to sustainable hotel concepts,” said Denis Hüttig, Vice President Operations at Steigenberger Hotels & Resorts. “Thanks to our studios in Brussels, Berlin and Frankfurt, we are able to offer tailor-made solutions to our guests: hybrid conferences with several thousand participants, live digital events for clients, fixed studio formats, television features and much more. In the German studios, we are working closely with our technology services provider Encore to ensure that all procedures run smoothly. We will expand these services to include further locations in future.”

Steigenberger is also launching a new event planning concept called “Virtual Live Tour”. Potential customers will be able to plan out their next event in detail by undertaking a real-time tour of discovery around their hotel of choice from the comfort of home.

IntercityHotel offers more than 40 modern upper mid-scale urban hotels, all of which are located within easy walking distance of railway stations or airports, whilst Zleep Hotels provide quality and design at an affordable price in Denmark and Sweden.
