The program begins on Lunar New Year’s Eve with an excursion to a nearby pagoda, wet markets and flower farm to showcase how locals prepare for Tet. Guests will try their hand at making Chung cakes before the resort's night market brims with foods such as skewers, spring rolls and banh mi, desserts, drinks, gifts and toys. Alma Garden will host a “reunion” buffet, live band and fire dancing and La Casa's a la carte menu will be complemented by Alma’s “Singing Cooks and Waiters” who will belt out a medley of popular songs before the countdown begins. At the historic Azerai La Residence, Hue in central Vietnam, guests can book a special “Tet” package for stays between Feb. 1 and 28. The resort will celebrate the Lunar New Year with traditional Tet dinner menus, including special rates for groups, along with lucky money envelopes, lion dances and more. Azerai Can Tho in the Mekong Delta will kick off festivities on Feb. 11 with the release of floating lanterns at the resort’s lake, and continue with family-friendly events including conical hat painting, paper flower crafting, treasure hunts and more.
