Named after the goddess of healing, Althea welcomes hotel guests and local members alike in its superbly designed premises that exude minimalistic elegance, soothing colour symmetry, and a genuine sense of serenity.
Althea Spa Retreat occupies 750 sqm (8000 sft) of indoor & outdoor area at ground level, overlooking the sacred island of Delos, birthplace of the mythological god of light, Apollo, and coincidentally one the sunniest areas in the world. This sunshine blesses the area with a high concentration of cosmic energy, something that will undoubtedly heighten your wellness journey.
Working in partnership with award-winning London designer, Maria Vafiadis, Founder & Managing Director of MKV Design, Mykonos Grand has created a spa that is elegantly balanced, with daylight filled interiors where a palette of dazzling white and numerous shades of blue are perfectly aligned with the Cycladic architecture. The Spa’s unique design optimally utilizes the glorious natural light. A series of treatment rooms with private, shaded courtyards allows interaction with nature and views to the Aegean Sea while its semi-caved thalasso pool, as well as outdoor treatment and relaxation areas all enjoy incredible sea and garden views. The result is a complete sense of all-round well-being.
The Menu of Althea Spa Retreat offers a journey of rejuvenating treatments designed to restore and revive mind, body and spirit in a secluded location. Therapies have all been meticulously designed, incorporating the latest trends in health and beauty, to offer maximum relaxation, rejuvenation and integrative wellness. Althea’s team is dedicated to a caring, compassionate and unobtrusive service.
Althea Spa Retreat is open daily from 9am to 8pm, and implements all health and safety protocols enforced to address the COVID-19 pandemic.
