Chateau Nova and Nova Suites Hotel in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories and The Clearwater Suites Hotel in Fort McMurray, Alberta come under new ownership and management.

Temple REIT of Winnipeg, new owners of the three successful properties, announced today that Atlific Hotels & Resorts of Montreal will manage the 3 hotels. Mr. Arni Thorsteinson, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Temple REIT announced the addition of these fine new hotels to the Temple REIT portfolio, joining the already successful Temple Gardens Mineral Spa Resort in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan.

"We are all extremely proud to have been chosen to lead these hotels in Canada's rapidly developing north" stated Robert Leoppky, Regional Operations Manager Western Region, Atlific Hotels & Resorts, adding, "Chateau Nova, Nova Suites and The Clearwater Suites have long been considered premier accommodations in their respective markets. We intend to continue to grow on that tradition, working closely with the team on-site at each hotel and in both communities."

"Our association with Arni Thorsteinson has demonstrated a tradition of success through solid acquisitions combined with the proven systems of Atlific Management, and we are pleased to add these fine hotels to Atlific's growing portfolio" stated Robert Chartrand, Executive Vice President and CFO, Atlific Hotels & Resorts. "Our vast network of sales personnel and the marketing and e-commerce team across Canada and the United States will increase the hotels' abilities to promote their services", added Leoppky.

Conveniently located adjacent to one another in downtown Yellowknife, the Chateau Nova, and Nova Suites Hotel feature some of the newest and best corporate facilities in Canada's North with 80 well-appointed guestrooms including one and two bedroom suites with full kitchen and living room. Historical photos of the early days of mining line the walls of the hotels giving a taste of the adventurous Northern spirit. Other hotel services include The Millwright restaurant, a fitness centre, hot tub, business centre, complimentary parking, shuttle service, and meeting space to accommodate up to 60 people.

Nestled in the boreal forest at the confluence of four rivers lies Fort McMurray - a place immersed in natural beauty where land, sky and water meet.
