With increased physical distancing practices and face masks as the new team member accessory, the Luxury-Included resort company wanted to ensure that their connection with customers remained just as strong. Guests will now find a few creative modifications to some existing Sandals traditions. Although fist bumps and head nods replaced handshakes and hugs, the welcoming smiles that guests have come to expect have found a way to shine through.
The resort company implemented a creative solution through it’s Cute as a Button Greeting Pins for all 15,000 team members. Personal photo pins are worn on their lapel so that guests can now see the bright smiles behind the branded masks. According to Adam Stewart, Deputy Chairman of Sandals Resorts International, “Above all, one of our signature hospitality hallmarks has always been the warm welcome and the Caribbean smiles that guests can count on to complement their stay. While face coverings for all team members keep guests safe, we wanted to ensure we kept that authentic connection only a smile can offer.”
“Little touches can make a big impact, especially in challenging times. Although our team members smiles may be hidden they wear it on their heart for our valued guests. As our resorts continue to open across the Caribbean, guests can count on Sandals Resorts to be a brand they can trust to smile through it all,” said Stewart.
