Elegant country house style meets modern ambience: Since 2 March, the country house of the Steigenberger Hotel Treudelberg Hamburg presents itself to its guests in a new appearance. The traditional house in Hamburg's Alstertal was completely renovated and modernised from April 2019 to February 2020.

131 rooms and suites, the restaurant, the lobby, the bar and the spa area have all undergone a total refit. “We are delighted that the renovation of the hotel has been brought to a successful conclusion and that we are now able to offer our guests an attractive and timeless country house style welcome,” said Michael Fritz, General Manager of the Steigenberger Hotel Treudelberg. “Large fabric curtains, warm shades of wood and open fireplaces help to create a luxurious atmosphere. We also have a sustainable culinary concept in place that will deliver special highlights for holiday makers in future.” Total investment in the measures around €16 million.

The Hamburg-based architectural firm SWP and the interior design company meierei from Munich were engaged to plan and execute the construction works. “We have worked in close conjunction with our partners and hotel management to achieve perfect implementation of the idea of a modern country manor which exudes a real feel-good factor allied with individual design, explained Bernhard Garbe, founder of the Garbe Group and owner of the Steigenberger Hotel Treudelberg. “Despite this, we have also succeeded in remaining largely true to our personal style and have been able to impart our own special touch to this charming hotel.”

Following the renovation programme, the Steigenberger Hotel Treudelberg Hamburg now offers 127 rooms in three different categories alongside four suites. It is located in the North of Hamburg and features particularly impressive natural surroundings as well as views of its own 27-hole golf course. The new Lemsahler Restaurant will provide a new culinary focus. The hotel now also includes a modern events area accommodating up to 260 persons and the Vinoble Day Spa und Country Club.
