Bringing with him three decades of Chinese culinary experience, Hsieh will craft dishes that run the gamut on Chinese flavours from bold & spicy Sichuan cuisine to umami-rich Taiwanese food. During the six-week long special menu promotion diners will be able to order a la carte from more than a dozen limited-time menu items. Highlights include a Taiwanese banquet must-have roasted mullet roe, and braised minced pork meatball soup.

For visitors who wish to explore Taiwanese flavours in Taiwan, Grand Hyatt Taipei is offering the chance to win one complimentary two-night stay and dinner for two at Yun Jin. The Instagram campaign, gives Chinaroom guests who post pictures of the special menu alongside certain hashtags and handles, the chance to be in to win. See more details here.

Grand Hyatt Taipei has a number of stay packages, such as the Explore Package. Increasing the ease of hopping on and off local transport, guests of the Explore Package get one NT500 (USD 15) EasyCard per registered guest that can be used on the city’s MRT or bus system. Late checkout of 2pm is also included so visitors can spend more time exploring the city. Other highlights include daily buffet breakfast at Café, and a welcome drink at the guest’s choice of Ziga Ziga, the hotel’s Italian restaurant that transforms into a club in the later hours, or Cheers, an all-day dining restaurant and bar.
