Originally from the United Kingdom, Marc Raffray has been in the luxury hotel industry for 34 years. Over the course of his career, he has worked for some of the most prestigious hotels and hotel groups in the world, in France, the United States, Switzerland, Thailand and Mauritius. Following these international experiences, Mr. Raffray in 2005 joined the Four Seasons Hotel George V as Director of Food & Beverage. Within two years, his keen eye, exacting standards and constant quest for excellence earned him a promotion to Director of the Paris palace hotel. In 2014, Mr. Raffray moved to Geneva to become General Manager of the Four Seasons Hôtel des Bergues. Shortly thereafter, Rosewood Hotels & Resorts group entrusted him with the reopening in October 2016 of its Parisian crown jewel, the Hôtel de Crillon. Marc Raffray is delighted to join the Ritz Paris as General Manager starting on August 19th: “I wish to perpetuate the standing of this emblematic hotel.
