Hilton (NYSE: HLT) has signed a franchise agreement with Goldenflamingo Ida to open The Emerald House Lisbon, Curio Collection by Hilton next year in the popular Portuguese capital.
The Emerald House Lisbon will be the first Curio Collection by Hilton property in Portugal, joining the global portfolio of more than 60 one-of-a-kind hotels and resorts handpicked for their unique character. Upon completion of a multi-million Euro renovation, the property will boast 67 guest rooms, a fitness centre, restaurant and bar for guests and local residents to enjoy.

"Portugal is renowned for its one-of-a-kind beauty, historical importance and unique dining, and we are confident that The Emerald House Lisbon will offer curious travellers seeking unexpected and authentic experiences truly memorable accommodations."
The hotel will be situated in the heart of Lisbon, enviably near the Ancient National Museum of Art and surrounded by several embassies and Portuguese Parliament buildings. A few streets away are the historical districts of Chiado and Baixa, famous for impressive plazas, vibrant restaurants and boutique shops.
