In this role, Ms Toth will implement comprehensive communications strategies as part of the pre-opening team for the new Rosewood Hotels & Resorts latest global flagship, based out of Hong Kong.
Additionally, she will manage communications and public relations initiatives for Rosewood Hong Kong [RWHKG], while overseeing the brand’s social media activities. Ms Toth joins Rosewood Hong Kong with nineteen years of public relations, marketing and journalism experience, including a 7-year tenure at The Peninsula Hotels where she served as Director of Communications, Director of Brand Communications, and Director of Public Relations respectively.
In her most recent role as Director of Communications at The Peninsula Hong Kong, Ms Toth implemented the flagship’s communications strategy across all functions, including brand communications, public relations, digital, events, and partnerships.
Additionally, she oversaw the communications strategy surrounding several significant initiatives at the flagship, including the launch of “Love Art at The Peninsula”, The Peninsula Hong Kong’s four-year visual arts partnership with Britain’s Royal Academy of Arts, the renovation of The Peninsula Hong Kong’s guest rooms, and the hotel’s 85th anniversary celebrations. She was notably responsible for incubating groundbreaking arts initiatives and architectural interventions, in turn achieving brand amplification for the hotel.
Prior to The Peninsula, Ms Toth held senior communications positions within leading luxury hotels in Hong Kong, in addition to editorial roles at the region’s leading marketing-communications industry publications under the portfolio of Campaign Asia-Pacific at Haymarket Media, the UK’s largest independently owned publishing group and publisher of market-leading titles Campaign and Marketing. In addition, an extended tenure at luxury lifestyle publication Hong Kong Tatler saw her oversee editorial content focusing on the art, design and luxury brand sectors.

Ms Toth is a graduate of University College London’s School of European Languages, Culture & Society (SELCS), where she received her Bachelor of Arts honours degree. Having spent the last eighteen years in Hong Kong, Ms Toth’s appointment with Rosewood cements her nuanced, in-depth knowledge of Asia’s ever-changing world city.About Rosewood Hong KongOpening in Winter 2018, the 413-room Rosewood Hong Kong will be located at a prime Victoria Harbour waterfront location at the former New World Centre on Salisbury Road in Tsim Sha Tsui.
