The next A.S.I. contest of the Best Sommelier of Europe & Africa will take place in Vienna, Austria in May. 38 candidates registered, 3 sommeliers of them coming from Africa. It is a première. That continent having only three associations so far, it is not enough for a continental contest. But the A.S.I. wanted to give them the opportunity of discovering the world of international competitions.
