Let’s point out that Austria welcome candidates from South Africa and Slovakia, France from Romania and the Netherlands from Belgium

It is a great vintage : 47 certified A.S.I. Sommeliers out of 58. Very well done ! And among them, 16 sommeliers obtained the GOLD certificate. A Première in the history of the A.S.I. Exam.

Actually, we did receive 58 questionnaires + Essays + grids of the practical and oral tests, all of them marked and double checked by the A.S.I. Exam Committee under the guidance of Giuseppe Vaccarini.

Let’s point out one problem : South Korea sent us the papers together with bottles of wines/ beverages (not required!). They were blocked at the Italian fronteer… No results for the South Korean candidates so far… Too bad, but we will find a solution as soon as possible to get the papers and mark them!

The Silver and Gold certificates, cards and pins will be given on the occasion of the A.S.I. General Assembly on June 17th in Bordeaux.
