A native of Birmingham, England, Nickle’s career began by chance when the husband-and-wife owners of a spa in the Notting Hill district of London needed a manager. The job exposed Nickle to a wide range of innovation, with a naturopathic doctor on staff and detox, Pilates and personal training programs that flourished long before they became mainstream.

Before embarking on her career with Four Seasons, she headed off on a “service-driven route,” opening the first Bliss Spa in London, then joining Steiner Leisure where she was responsible for 17 spas and, eventually, new operations for partner hotels. During this time, she developed the customer service, leadership, and employee relations skills that propel her successful career with Four Seasons.

After joining Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas at Las Colinas in April 2011, Victoria decided to head for the palm trees and ocean breezes of Palm Beach as director of the glamorous spa in 2012. During her tenure at Four Seasons, Nickle was promoted to Senior Spa Director for The Americas in 2014 and now oversees all spas within the Northeast region including Four Seasons hotels in Chicago, Washington, Boston and the upcoming Four Seasons in Montreal.

"As our global flagship property, this is great example of how a spa can be a cornerstone of excellence and add tremendous value to our guests,” says Nickle. “Toronto feels like home – I was always meant to be here and I am excited to lead this team and take our product and service to the next level.”

She first hopes to institute a larger Enhancements Menu for massages and facials. “It allows us to take personalising a Spa experience to a whole new level.”

Aesthetically simple and serene, the Spa, is a sun-filled urban luxury retreat, is among the largest in Toronto, with over 2,787 square metres (30,000 square feet) of space to relax. The Spa offers 17 spacious treatment rooms, two steam rooms, and a salon with hair, manicure and pedicure stations as well as a 24-hour fitness centre and yoga studio located on the eighth floor. Reserve a spa treatment by calling the Spa at 416 963 6006.
