The program is a six-month certificate for university degree holders who are passionate about culinary arts and gastronomy, and who would like to forge careers in the food and beverage industry. Intensive modules will enable students to practice various culinary skills as well as table decoration, etiquette and service. They will tackle innovation, research and development challenges, while also immersing themselves in entrepreneurship and the operational management of food and beverage outlets. The teaching teams are made up of leading experts in management and of “Meilleurs Ouvriers de France” for the practical sessions.

As patron, Joël Robuchon will bring an additional seal of excellence to this new program, inspired, as always, by his passion for the culinary arts, his strong spirit of entrepreneurship, and his tirelessness in conveying his savoir-faire.

'We are delighted to be offering our new students this unique opportunity. Through his exceptional experience, innovative approach, commitment to sharing his knowledge and his philosophy of excellence, Joël Robuchon is the ideal figure to inspire our students to fulfil their ambitions', said Fabien Fresnel, Dean of EHL.

Joël Robuchon adds: 'One of my priorities is passing on my know-how and experience to future generations, both in order to maintain excellence and to promote continuous innovation. Sharing and transmission are vital aspects of success in our field. I am happy to be the patron of this first intake in an institution which shares these values of precision and rigor. The school is eager to maintain traditions within an international environment that is one of a kind.'

In June 2016, at the opening of the future Joël Robuchon International Institute, EHL and Mr. Robuchon announced their new partnership with an aim to combining their complementary experience in culinary training courses.

Enrolments in the Master Class in Culinary Arts are open on the EHL website.
