As part of the Forum 66 mixed-use development, the Conrad Shenyang hotel will occupy the upper 19 floors of the 67-story office tower, offering 360-degree panoramic views of the city's skyline. Due to open in the first half of 2019, the hotel will have 315 exquisitely appointed guest rooms and suites.
Mr. Norman Chan, Director (Leasing and Sales) of Hang Lung Properties said, "We are excited to work with Hilton to introduce the esteemed Conrad brand to Shenyang, a debut that will appeal to business and leisure travellers alike. The all-new hotel is ideally located on Qingnian Da Jie and is only steps away from our world-class shopping mall, which will offer guests of the hotel the city's most diverse array of services, shopping and lifestyle experiences."
Combining aesthetics of modern luxury and designed by a number of the world's leading interior design firms, including Wilson Associates, the hotel will offer a variety of international dining and entertainment options through its restaurants and bars, some of which will be located atop the highest floor with its dramatic sweeping city views. The hotel will also feature a spa, a fully equipped fitness center with indoor swimming pool, and an exclusive executive lounge for business travellers. The grand ballroom, which can accommodate over 500 guests, will be a five-star venue for tenants of the adjacent office tower and the city's elite. The ballroom will cater to a variety of upscale events and functions, as well as conferences and business meetings and is expected to become the focus for social gatherings in Shenyang .
The new hotel marks a new phase for Forum 66, confirming its status as the city's most coveted address. Opened in 2015, Forum 66's Grade A office tower has already attracted prominent tenants such as Medtronic, Covidien, Nikon, Astellas Pharma and Omron; the latest addition being the establishment of the Bank of China's regional headquarters here.
"We believe that the addition of a premium hotel will complement our vision for Forum 66 as the destination of choice for high-end shopping, entertainment, business and hospitality experiences in Shenyang ," Chan said.
Striving to create a venue that can meet the diverse needs of office tenants and the wider community, Forum 66 has also enriched the shopping mall's trade mix with the addition of new food and beverage outlets, more lifestyle and entertainment offerings and premium brands, boosting footfall and tenant retail sales. Food and beverage outlets, lifestyle and leisure offerings have increased to 25% and 35%, respectively. International premium brands including Nicolas Andreas Taralis, Trussardi, and Tory Burch have made their debut at Forum 66 over the past year. Dirk Bikkembergs andVivienne Westwood will also soon open stores at the mall. A new bookstore-cum-cafe will open in 2017 offering a unique ambience for book lovers, which will complement the overall character of the mall.
