The world’s most luxurious ship, Seven Seas Explorer, will feature an exclusive collection of bath amenities from Guerlain when it launches in July, becoming the first cruise ship to offer complimentary amenities from the legendary French perfume house.
Available in all Penthouse Suites and above, the Guerlain collection of products – typically reserved for the most prestigious of hotels – is imbued with the renowned French perfumer’s elegant fragrances that have been adored around the world since 1828. Included in the exclusive Seven Seas Explorer collection are Guerlain shampoos, conditioners, shower gels, body lotions and vegetable white soaps.
In addition, guests staying in the Regent Suite, Master Suite, Grand Suite and Explorer Suite will receive a complimentary 100ml bottle of Eau de Cologne Impériale. The fresh and citrusy fragrance was first created in 1853 to pay homage to Empress Eugénie, the wife of Napoleon III and last empress of France.
“Seven Seas Explorer will be the most luxurious ship the world has ever witnessed, and it is vital that every detail, every aspect of the ship conveys luxury,” said Jason Montague, president and chief operating officer for Regent Seven Seas Cruises. “We are excited to partner with Guerlain to be the first cruise line to offer their signature amenities to our guests, adding an extra dash of luxury to the magnificent suites found on Seven Seas Explorer.”
The complimentary collection of exclusive amenities from Guerlain will initially be available only on Seven Seas Explorer, but will soon roll out on the remainder of the Regent Seven Seas Cruises fleet of all-suite luxury vessels - - Seven Seas Navigator, Seven Seas Mariner and Seven Seas Voyager.
Seven Seas Explorer The newest member of the Regent Seven Seas Cruises fleet, Seven Seas Explorer has been hailed as the most luxurious ship ever built. At 56,000 gross-registered tons and carrying only 750 guests, it boasts one of the highest space ratios in the cruise industry. The elegantly designed ship features spacious suites, including the one-of-akind, 3,875-square foot Regent Suite, extravagantly designed lounges and showplaces, and lavish gourmet restaurants -- including two new specialty restaurants, Chartreuse and Pacific Rim.
In addition to the line’s signature free unlimited shore excursion programme, Seven Seas Explorer is exclusively offering new Gourmet Explorer Tours designed for guests seeking unique, one-of-a-kind epicurean adventures ashore. Part of the Regent Choice shore excursion program, these Gourmet Explorer Tours are designed to complement the ship’s Culinary Arts Kitchen, the brand’s first culinary instruction centre.
The luxury liner’s maiden voyage is scheduled for 20 July 2016, and it will spend an inaugural season in Europe before heading to Miami for a series of Caribbean voyages.
