It is the sixth Marriott Executive Apartments of Marriott International (NASDAQ:MAR) in China, as well as the first extended stay apartments managed by an international hotel group in Tianjin Economic-Technological Development Area (TEDA).

Located in Tianjin Binhai New Area, TEDA, Tianjin – Marriott Executive Apartments is connected to the highly acclaimed Renaissance Tianjin TEDA Convention Centre Hotel. Marriott International manages both the apartments and the hotel under an agreement with Tianjin Binhai TEDA Hotel Development Co. Ltd.

“We are pleased that the popularity of the Marriott Executive Apartments brand in China continues to grow and it now expands to Tianjin,” said Henry Lee, Chief Operations Officer – Greater China of Marriott International. “Designed with extended stay travelers in mind, the apartments are located in an iconic location with the convenience of a five-star, full-service hotel. Offering space, ambience and privacy of residential living the Marriott Executive Apartments enables a comfortable stay while living away from home”.

Guests have a choice of studio apartments or one, two and three-bedroom elegantly furnished serviced apartments, each with fully-equipped kitchen, free Wi-Fi, satellite TV, including housekeeping, grocery shopping, room service and on-demand limousine services. World-class dining facilities, 24-hour fitness center, spa and 25-meter indoor swimming pool with sauna and whirlpool of the adjacent Renaissance hotel are also available to guests.

The property also provides an upscale venue for business meetings with gourmet dining, a meeting butler and 12 multi-function rooms providing over 64,000 sq. ft. of event space.

“The TEDA is among the first national development areas and has been pushing forward the growth of Tianjin for three decades. Nowadays, TEDA is the most active and globalized economic area in North China. TEDA is also the first choice of foreign investment in North China. Therefore we envisage a strong market demand towards quality extended stay service in this area,” said Javier Gimeno, General Manager of TEDA, Tianjin – Marriott Executive Apartments.
