Wyndham Hotel Group, the world’s largest hotel company, today announced the opening of the 144-room Wyndham Costa del Sol Lima, the seventh property to open in the country under the company’s upscale Wyndham Hotel and Resorts brand with local partner Costa del Sol, bringing the brand’s room count to more than 800 rooms.
The newly constructed Lima hotel boasts a central location within walking distance of shops, cafés, restaurants and world-class shopping at Real Plaza Salaverry, and offers easy access to dozens of embassies, the financial district and the economic hub of Lima, making it ideal for business travelers.

The non-smoking Wyndham Costa del Sol Lima hotel offers several upscale amenities and services, including full leisure facilities, an on-site casino and exquisite on-site dining. With 730 square meters (7,858 square feet) of ultra-modern, state-of-the-art meeting and event space, the Lima hotel features a perfect place to collaborate and celebrate for successful conferences or picture-perfect weddings. The hotel also offers 144 spacious, elegantly appointed guestrooms, equipped with must-have amenities like plush bedding and an in-room safe. Club Level Rooms offer exclusive access to a VIP lounge and spacious suites.
Based on an agreement announced just six months ago, Costa del Sol owns and operates eight properties under Wyndham Hotel Group brands in Peru: one Ramada hotel in Cusco and seven Wyndham Hotels and Resorts properties across key destinations in the country.
In Latin America and the Caribbean, the Hotel Group currently has 33 Wyndham Hotel and Resorts properties across 13 countries which represent 6,046 rooms. Costa del Sol is a Peruvian hotel chain with properties across the country’s most important travel destinations such as Cusco, the gateway to Machu Picchu. This year, the company is celebrating its 20th anniversary doing business in the country. It opened its first head office in the frontier city of Tumbes in northern Peru in 1995. In subsequent years, it continued to grow with hotels in Piura, Chiclayo, and Cajamarca.
