After starting his career within the Starwood group, he joined the hotel in May 2011 as Director of Sales & Marketing.
After four years as part of the Executive Committee, the London + Regional Properties group has entrusted him with the Management of the establishment with the objective of giving a new impetus to this emblematic hotel of the Principality, formerly owned by the Formula 1 driver David Coulthard.
Bastien Anouil will have the mission of piloting an ambitious repositioning within the increasingly competitive and constantly-changing Monegasque hotel sector, and of implementing a strategic vision to ensure long-term growth for the Columbus Monte-Carlo.
Aged just 31, this passionate advocate of Hospitality and Gastronomy, a visiting lecturer in Hotel Financing at the University of Nice Sophia-Antipolis, and father of two children, likes to motivate and lead by example. He says that he is "honoured by this new assignment, and proud to be in charge of leading the formidable teams in place to many new successes".
About the ColumbusColumbus is a very special hotel located in Fontvieille, the business and residential area of Monaco and only few minutes from Monte-Carlo. A place to slow down, unwind and feel good about life. With 181 rooms and suites, the style is Riviera Chic, where beautifully glamourous and barefoot elegance sit easily side by side. The service is graceful, genuinely friendly and always attentive. The feeling is good, exclusive and laid back.
