Ctrip.com International Ltd. (NASDAQ: CTRP), the largest online travel agency in China, has completed integration with eRevMax to offer XML connectivity to its growing base of hotel customers. Accommodation providers using RateTiger and Connect solutions as well as the recently announced LIVE platform will now be able to make real-time ARI (Availability, Rates & Inventory) updates and receive bookings generated on the channel through eRevMax solutions directly into their property management system. This will result in more efficient rate distribution, enhanced rate optimization and the streamlining of all connections.

Shanghai-based Ctrip has the largest network in China offering 170,000 domestic and over 510,000 international properties across 200 countries and territories around the world. The integration with eRevMax will help Ctrip gain access to broader inventory and more availability, improve booking conversion and increase revenues as part of its growth plans across South East Asia, the United States, and Latin America.

“Our partnership with eRevMax provides properties with an easy to use interface to manage rates and allotments distributed through our sales channel. eRevMax’s robust distribution platform has changed the way hotels can cost effectively manage multiple channels online. This seamless integration will help our clients to significantly reduce time and tools they spent on managing rates and inventories”, said Maria Sun, Executive Vice President, CEO of Hotel Business Unit, Ctrip.

eRevMax’s 2-way XML connection with Ctrip has been certified and is currently being implemented by Kempinski Hotels across their portfolio. “As the distribution landscape rapidly evolves with increasing complexity and diversity of models, it is critical that hotels are able to continue applying their pricing strategies across these channels from a central point of control. eRevMax supports this vision and we are pleased with the two way integration they have provided between our Central Reservations System K-Rez and Ctrip, a prominent online partner in China, not only reaching guests for our properties in China, but internationally as well, ” commented Riko Van Santen, Vice President Digital Strategy & Distribution at Kempinski Hotels.

China’s online travel market is growing at a compound rate of 14% from 2011 to 2016 by transaction scale, and is estimated to contribute 24% of China’s travel market by 2015. Ctrip is one of the most popular travel sites in China with over 250 million members and over 30 million real user reviews. In addition, Ctrip mobile application has over 400 million cumulative downloads.

“China is a key market for our growth, and this integration with Ctrip will certainly improve our portfolio offering a diverse range of distributors through the eRevMax Channel Ecosystem. Hotels using any of our distribution solutions can update rates and inventory across all their channels in one step, and the updated rates will be immediately available to the 250 million customers of Ctrip,” said Greg Berman, COO, eRevMax.

The new functionality is now available to all existing eRevMax hotel customers looking to leverage distribution through Ctrip. eRevMax is developing its connectivity solutions to offer sophisticated real-time revenue management functionality to the hospitality industry. This includes solutions for the independent market, the mid-market and scaling up through the large, global hotel groups. eRevMax's Channel Ecosystem facilitates quality, certified XML connectivity and relationship management services to support complex revenue generation strategies.
