Many customers have already fallen for the charms of the four-star urban hotel concept created by Olivier Devys, and it has also won over property developers and cities alike, attracted by this resolutely innovative product that fulfils all the needs of today’s travellers. The expansion of OKKO HOTELS continues apace and the start of 2015 holds much promise, with construction work starting on the first OKKO hotel in the Parisian region, as well as the confirmation of three more projects in France’s capital.

Okko Hotels will reach the outskirts of Paris in 2016

On 31st January – in the company of Patrick Ollier, MP and mayor of the commune of Rueil-Malmaison, and Gérald Azancot, the president of project developer FIMINCO – Olivier Devys celebrated the first brick being laid at OKKO HOTELS’ newest construction site. The new hotel forms part of the ambitious redevelopment and modernisation of the RER Mobipôle train station. Located only 10 minutes from the centre of Paris by public transport, OKKO’s guests will be made to feel welcome in a 110-room hotel that will feature a first-floor Club area boasting a wonderful terrace, all the work of designer Patrick Norguet. This elegant dressed-stone building, which will also house a garden centre, a student residence and two restaurants, has been designed by the architect Loïc Richalet.

The doors to OKKO’s first hotel in the Parisian region will be open to the public during the first half of 2016, offering high-quality and contemporary accommodation at the heart of Rueil-Malmaison’s “garden station”.

Porte de Sèvres In 2017

On the site of the Pullman Paris Rive-Gauche hotel, formerly Sofitel-Porte de Sèvres, the developer Bouygues Immobilier has undertaken an ambitious project designed to accommodate the future headquarters of insurance firm SMA, as well as the future OKKO HOTELS. Jean-Michel Wilmotte is the man behind the architecture of this 149-bedroom hotel, held within a sculpted building that will effortlessly blend into the heart of this fast-evolving district. Construction work is soon to get underway on the hotel, whose doors should be open to the public in 2017. OKKO’s guests will find that the proximity of the tram service, the Balard metro stop and the Porte de Versailles make this hotel the ideal stop-off for a business trip.

The surroundings of the Montparnasse railway station in 2018

Perfectly located at only a short walk from the Montparnasse railway station, OKKO’s second Paris city hotel will open in 2018. The construction permit is currently being drawn up by the prospective developer, for a project that will fit in perfectly with a district currently undergoing a contemporary makeover.

And the Gare de l’Est in 2019

The French national railway company SNCF recently signed off on their “Green Balcony” project for the Gare de l’Est train station in Paris. While doing so, they announced that OKKO HOTELS had been chosen to install a 170-room hotel beside the station’s platforms, along a stretch of land leading to the nearby Gare du Nord. An entirely unique 2,600 m² area of public gardens will be installed on the roof terrace of this building, owned by the City of Paris and accessible via walkways from the Rue d’Alsace. This major project, managed by the developer Spie Batignolles Immobilier, should see the light of day in 2019.

To sum up in a few words, Okko Hotels is…
