Executive Chef appointed at Bavaria Executive Suites Dubai

Bavaria Hotels International Chief Executive Officer, Thomas H. F. Gertz, recently announced the appointment of Mr Jörg-Peter Nödler as Executive Chef for Bavaria Executive Suites Dubai.

Chef Peter graduated from Hotel Management School in Heidelberg, having completed his vocational training in Kassel. A German national, Chef Peter gained experience in the kitchens of several well-known hotels and restaurants in Germany and Switzerland before joining Crowne Plaza Shanghai in June 1995. From China he moved to the Hayman Island Resort in Australia, then the prestigious Beaufort in Singapore. Perfecting his skills with a Master Chef Diploma from the Heidelberg Management School in 2003, Chef Peter joined the One & Only Royal Mirage in Dubai where, amongst many culinary achievements, he moulded the path for the HACCP implementation for the luxurious resort hotel.

Chef Peter brings extensive experience of a wide variety of specialty cuisines from four continents to the kitchens of Bavaria Executive Suites Dubai. He will be utilising this knowledge and professional expertise to establish uniquely combined menus and signature dishes for the hotel's international specialty restaurant Terrasso, which offers a light, modern setting for all day dining with delicious buffets served from show kitchens, plus the Palm Garden restaurant located adjacent to the Sheikh Zayed Road with its superb terrace, landscaped palm garden, Mediterranean design and comfortable banquette seating. Chef Peter also assumes responsibility for Bavaria Hotels International's signature Café Haus - living the European Coffee Tradition, the Palm Lounge, majestically positioned on the 40th floor and four additional specialty restaurants.

Chef Peter comments on his latest challenge:

'I firmly believe that fine cuisine does not exclusively exist in a fine dining restaurant. At Bavaria Executive Suites Dubai we aim to create fine cuisine in stylishly modern, informal surroundings by utilizing modern production techniques with an emphasis on prime produce crafting light healthy dishes from around the world to suit all tastes. We will also be placing a high priority on the requirements of our younger guests, with kid-friendly menus including family favourites and healthy options to tempt the little ones.'
