The refurbishment has been themed on the four elements earth, air, fire and water - the original inspiration behind the hotel’s interior. The lounge is open from 7am until 1am and offers guests quality dining experiences such as the renowned afternoon tea which includes five courses and freshly brewed jing tea, presented on a tea stand in the shape of a bird cage.
The seating area in the lounge is divided into three zones with ‘fire’ at the heart of the lounge and the areas on either side inspired by earth and water. The colour schemes and textures chosen for these zones are also associated with the elements. The fourth element ‘air’ is symbolised by the open, light and transparent spaces within the lounge.
The menu created by Chef Sydney Stranger and his team presents classic favorites and specialties. With over 16 years’ experience in the hospitality industry, including roles at some of London’s most prestigious kitchens, Chef Sydney aims to put a special touch to every one of his creations. Guests can enjoy light bites in the lounge or at the outdoor bar counters and select from a range of pastries in the ornate glass display.
Jumeirah Beach Hotel looks forward to welcoming guests to this newly refurbished space, which is dedicated to life’s simple pleasures.
