Opened in 1994, Four Seasons Hotel México DF celebrates its twentieth anniversary with a USD 14 million full renovation to the iconic property located in the heart of Mexico City.
“Even though we have reached each of our objectives during this time in Mexico City, we believe in reinvention as a continuous method to fulfill our most important goal: to always offer our guests and customers the highest quality standards in our service and facilities,” says José Adames, General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel México DF.
Beginning in July this year and continuing through 2015, the project will define a new era for the brand in México. Under French-based avant-garde designers Gilles & Boissier, Four Seasons Hotel México DF will unveil new looks in all 240 guest rooms and suites, as well as the lobby, corridors and meeting rooms. Even the Hotel’s façade will have a refreshed appearance. These changes, as well as the introduction of new features, will place the Mexican hotel at the height of other signature properties around the world.
In addition to the new bold, elegant interiors, Four Seasons will introduce several new dining concepts, and a new luxury barbershop to augment its spa and wellness offering:
- Reforma 500 restaurant will re-emerge as a new dining concept in August 2015. "Although we will miss Reforma 500, we are confident that with the new modern Mexican concept, we will delight our many loyal customers and welcome new guests to Four Seasons," says Executive Chef Edgar Kano, who is planning a farewell culinary festival prior to Reforma’s planned closure in March 2015.
- A luxurious new Italian restaurant will open in early 2015, conceived by the renowned Gruppo Becco and led by Chef Rolly Pavia.
- A new French patisserie, or bakeshop will overlook the beautiful courtyard garden that has distinguished Four Seasons Hotel Mexico D.F. since its opening.
- The popular El Bar will be refreshed in 2015 as part of the renovation program.
The new Gentlemen’s Tonic, an English-style barbershop, will provide tailored salon services for the modern man, enhancing the Hotel’s existing Spa and wellness offerings.
"We are not only renewing at all levels, but also reinventing the experience of our business and leisure guests at our Hotel, while enjoying an atmosphere of excellence that has distinguished us as a leading brand internationally," Adames promises.
With the completion of these renovations and introduction of new concepts in 2015, Four Seasons Hotel México DF marks the beginning of a new era. Guests and customers will be surprised and welcomed to be part of this evolution, which will label and consolidate the property as the ultimate luxury hotel in Mexico City.
