Vidago Palace Hotel receives a World Luxury Spa Award

Voted by guests and industry consultants, the awards celebrate the high achievers in the hospitality industry. The Classic Hotel gets Certificate of Excellence

The Classic Hotel in Cyprus has won its third Certificate of Excellence in a row from TripAdvisor. The prestigious Certificate of Excellence is given to hotels that get consistently high traveller reviews on the website – with only the top 10 per cent of hotels receiving this award. The Classic Hotel is located in the centre of Nicosia, within walking distance of many of the city’s famous sites, and has a gym, spa, bar and restaurant serving traditional favourites. A colourful redesign for Thon City Centre

The four-star Thon Hotel Brussels City Centre is a modern haven in the Belgian capital, popular with both business and leisure travellers, and has recently unveiled a bright and colourful makeover. Altis Grand Hotel renovates Herald Bar and Mezzanine

Set in the centre of Lisbon, the Altis Grand Hotel has recently celebrated its 40th birthday with a new name (it was previously Hotel Altis) and now a dramatic new renovation. The Herald Bar and Mezzanine has been reimagined by celebrated Portuguese interior designer Daciano da Costa. The redesign includes a new colour scheme, updated carpets and furniture, as well as new lighting. The renovated area is located next to the Roma meeting rooms and is the perfect place for cocktails, get-togethers and light meals.

A new addition to the Old Swan and Minster Mill

The Old Swan and Minster Mill, a charming hotel occupying a 600-year old coaching inn and an 18th century mill in the village of Minster Lovell in the Cotswolds, has acquired an adjacent cottage for guests seeking extra privacy and facilities. The picturesque three-bedroom Victorian cottage, built from the local honey-coloured stone, looks over the village cricket ground and evokes a timeless Englishness.
