The hotel will follow the debut of the world's first Himalayas Hotel in Qingdao this month. These two hotels mark a strong beginning for the homegrown hospitality brand that blends a contemporary vision and traditional Chinese culture within integrated urban communities.
The Himalayas Nantong Hotel is the first lifestyle hotel offering the Memory Bed and Memory Pillow to all the guests. Exciting, chic and cultured, the contemporary hotel will speak the Language of the World and deliver Extraordinary Moments through superior service standards and memorable accommodation and gourmet experiences.
Himalayas Nantong Hotel is conveniently positioned between Nantong's main city centre and the new CBD. It is beside the famous tourist site of Wolf Hill (Lang Shan). Nantong is a fast-growing river port city at the mouth of the Yangtze River in Jiangsu Province and is one of the top foreign investment cities in the Yangtze River Delta Economic Zone.
The hotel will be part of Nantong The City, a modern take on a 19th Century-styled integrated lifestyle community encompassing residences, shopping, museums, dining and entertainment. The unique themed enclave recreates the ambiance of Nanda Road, Nantong's historic hub of trade and social interaction. Nantong Xidong International Airport and Nantong Railway Station are just 30 minutes by car from the hotel. Shanghai is just a 90-minute drive via the Sutong Bridge.
Himalayas Nantong Hotel will feature 80 smartly furnished, paperless guestrooms, including 16 Suites. Every room showcases high-tech luxury amenities, including HD flatscreen TVs, iPod docks and cordless phones. Complimentary WiFi is offered throughout the hotel.
JiuJian Tang is the hotel's signature restaurant and events venue serving local Jiangsu and Zhejiang cuisines in a designer contemporary Chinese setting. The restaurant caters to all occasions with elegant indoor and outdoor dining venues, plus unique themed private VIP rooms equipped with modern audio-visual facilities. The Lobby Lounge is a stylish place to relax, meet and socialize while enjoying JiuJian Tang's signature teas, artisan coffee, fine wines and cocktails.
Himalayas Nantong Hotel is the second lifestyle hotel in an impressive portfolio of upscale hotels, restaurants and urban communities being unveiled by Himalayas Hotels & Communities. Other hotels include Himalayas Qingdao Hotel (opened in March 2014), and the upcoming Himalayas Watertown Shanghai Resort in Zhujiajiao and Himalayas Nanjing Hotel.
