Great Hotels of the World (http://www.ghotw.com) member NH Eurobuilding has recently completed significant renovations to its meeting space to become one of the most competitive conference hotels in Madrid.

Over the past year and a half, €4 million has been invested on the hotel’s renovations. NH Eurobuilding has added three new meeting rooms and now incorporates the biggest and most flexible plenary room in Madrid, with the possibility to host up to 1,600 guests. Additional renovations include 73 Standard Rooms which have been converted into Deluxe Rooms and 12 Executive Rooms converted into Premium Rooms.

After extensive renovations, NH Eurobuilding now offers 3,400m² of event space, with 32 meeting rooms concentrated over three floors, all with natural daylight. An exclusive floor for food and beverage is also available, providing excellent facilities to ensure the successful running of events. The Madrid plenary room has been extended from 578m² to 1,100m² and is now convertible into three different spaces to increase flexibility for groups. The construction of meeting room Madrid 4 has been completed, accommodating up to 175 people. Combining Madrid with Madrid 4 creates plenary room Grand Madrid, which can host up to 1,600 guests within 1000m2 of space. Additionally, the recently added 250m2 Benelux meeting room has been fully equipped with the latest technology, offering the option to convert the space into two separate meeting rooms, Amberes and Amsterdam. Further developments include the renovation of the Monaco and Malta rooms, two twin spaces located on the same floor. These rooms have been given a more modern feel (80m2 each), incorporating the latest integrated audiovisual technology.

A total of 84 rooms over three floors have been refurbished and converted into spacious and bright modern bedrooms with exceptional decoration and wooden floors. All renovated rooms offer free Wi-Fi, a Nespresso coffee machine, an electronic safe box for laptops and soundproof windows to ensure a comfortable stay. The bathrooms have also been redesigned to include a dressing area, rain shower and deluxe amenities. Guests who stay in the deluxe or premium rooms benefit from VIP services, such as buffet breakfast in a private area, early check-in and late check-out and access to the Grand VIP Room and three outdoor terraces. The renovations of the bedroom floors and meeting rooms will continue to progress within the upcoming two years to ensure that NH Eurobuilding maintains its position as one of the most competitive conference hotels in Madrid.

NH Eurobuilding has implemented a number of innovative, sustainable measures during the renovation. It has pioneered the introduction of charging points for electric vehicles and continues to increase its energy efficiency by installing 100% LED lamps and installation of insulation materials that optimise air conditioning costs.

Director of Sales of NH Eurobuilding, Lorena Vergara comments: “In having completely renovated our meeting space with our new 1000sqm plenary room, it places us in a commercial standpoint along with only a few properties. One of the biggest advantages is the space’s natural daylight. With its minimalist ambience and marble floors, it’s perfect for every kind of meeting, from business meetings to weddings, and we are positive that the addition of the space will make us more attractive to events business.”

The four-star NH Eurobuilding takes pride of place in the financial area of downtown Madrid, towering above the streets of the city and providing the biggest and most flexible plenary room in Madrid, making it the ideal setting for conventions, conferences, business meetings and more. With 430 spacious guest rooms and exquisite spa, dining and business facilities, the hotel has built an impressive reputation since opening in 1970.
